What I wish people realized about achieving GREAT things
Here at ITL, we’ve been working on a LOT of things lately.
We’re putting together the Creator Classic, we’re working on new launches, new content, looking into new frontiers for the business, and a ton more.
It’s crazy to be at the point where we’re at now, and people assume that we’ve got it all together all the time at ITL.
They couldn’t be more wrong.
I wish people realized just how many roadblocks you run into when you’re trying to do something great.
It’s easy to follow the cookie-cutter steps toward a destination that many have arrived at already.
It’s infinitely harder to find your way through the fog and achieve something excellent.
For some people, their battle is being the first in their family to graduate high school or college.
For other people, it’s building a business or getting into the best shape of their life.
For us here at ITL, it’s building the next global sports brand.
With the things we’re trying to do, there isn’t exactly a playbook of how to achieve the goals that we’re hungry to achieve.
Maybe you feel that way too, and let me be the first to tell you that this means you’re doing something right.
It’s easy to look back at the high achievers and the “greats” in every area and assume that they had it all figured out. They’ll be the first to tell you the opposite.
Regardless of what you’re trying to achieve, the goal is to learn from every experience and do everything you can to achieve the task at hand.
You will make mistakes.
You will deal with self-doubt and anxiety.
But if you persevere, your payoff at the end will be a feeling of accomplishment like few have ever felt.
That’s what drives the greats to become greater.
Whatever your personal roadblocks are, accept them as part of the journey and use them to be better.
I can’t wait to show you what we’ve got in store for you this summer.
